Club Sports Syndications brings the thrill of racehorse ownership to groups of people.
At Club Sport Syndications we believe that there is no better feeling than watching your horse cross the finish line first, we also believe that life is best when it is experienced with others, so we combined the two to allow people to experience racehorse ownership with their teammates, colleagues, friends, and family members.

Scheyville

4 Years Old Bay Gelding

A four-year-old who has only had one campaign, Scheyville has had 5 starts for a 2^nd placing and has only finished out of the top 5 once. His pedigree is lined with quality being by a mare who was a Group 1 NZ Oaks winner, and he heads to a fresh environment with Amy & Ash Yargi at Mornington as a maiden!

One of the key reasons why we thought he was such an excellent purchase was that he has been ultra-competitive in maiden races so far and with a change of environment we believe he can tick off his first win very quickly. Maiden races in Victoria offer fantastic prize money opportunities meaning that he will put something back in owners’ pockets straight away.

On the 8^th of March, he was unlucky not to knock off his maiden win, narrowly missing by .2 of a length. The form out of that race has been strong with the horses who placed behind him going on to run some nice races. His 4^th placed run on the 26^th of April was also impressive, he hit the line powerfully, with the winner of that race, African Pioneer going on to win twice more and race at metro level.

One of the other massive draw cards about this horse is that he is heading to tried horse experts Amy & Ash Yargi at Mornington who have an exceptional record in getting the best out of tried horses.

Having had just the one preparation Scheyville will take great educational benefit from his first five runs and with a change of environment to the relaxed setting of Mornington with saltwater recovery, we are sure that Amy & Ash will be getting the best out of the horse in no time.

From a pedigree perspective, Scheyville has a very impressive page and was originally a $40,000 purchase at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in 2022. His dam, Miss Mossman was a Group 1 winner having smashed her rivals by 4 lengths in the 2400 metre New Zealand Oaks, she then headed to Australia where she contested the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes and Group 1 Australian Oaks at Rosehill and Randwick. His sire, National Defence was the champion 2yo colt in France and brings some speed to Scheyville to combine with his elite staying pedigree.

Having had a break since his last start, he will be freshened up and will head to Mornington where they will work him towards a race return and target a maiden before progressing to bigger things.

Scheyville offers the perfect opportunity to get into a horse who has shown nice form, will take great benefit from his first racing preparation and is heading to a new fresh environment with the added benefit of still being a maiden!

Cobblestone Way

5 Years Old Bay Gelding

Club Sport Syndications are thrilled to announce our most recent tried horse purchase, Cobblestone Way.

A lightly raced five-year-old gelding, Cobblestone Way has had 14 starts for a win and 3 seconds, collecting $81,380 in prize money.

His impressive win came at metro level at Moonee Valley where he defeated some nice horses following two strong second placed showings at Cranbourne and Pakenham.

One of the key reasons we thought he was a great purchase with huge upside was his fourth placed effort in metro grade at Sandown on the 6^th of December. He hit the front and looked the winner for the duration of the straight before being run over in the final 50 metres and being beaten half a length.

We believe that Cobblestone Way expresses immense value for a couple of reasons, the first being that he just needs to win one race for owners to get a return on their investment. This will be made easier given that the horse carries an extremely low rating of 57 which means that he will be very easy to place.

Our Bloodstock Agent, Leonard Russo from Bluegrass Bloodstock was full of praise for the horse and thinks he is a great purchase stating that “Cobblestone Way has a low rating of 57, there are a few wins for your owners before contesting harder opposition, I think he can be placed nicely by the stable.”

He will be trained in a fresh environment by husband-and-wife training combination Amy and Ash Yargi at Mornington. Amy and Ash have had huge success with tried horses and we are excited to see what Cobblestone Way can do in our colours under their tutelage.

He will be freshened up and back in pre-training soon before heading out to Amy and Ash to begin his work with a plan to get him to the races in early Spring.

Club Sport Syndications are really excited to have purchased Cobblestone Way in conjunction with Amy & Ash Yargi and we are really excited about getting him to the track, winning some races and having a lot of fun!

Already a metro winner having won at Moonee Valley, defeating some nice horses.
His run a couple of starts back at Sandown in metro grade was terrific, looked the winner on the turn and for the entirety of the straight but was just beaten late.
An extremely low rating of 53 meaning that he can be placed anywhere and win a few races.
Heading to Amy & Ash Yargi who have a phenomenal record in getting the best out of tried horse purchases.
Offers unbelievable value, given his low rating and where he is heading if he can win a race at country level he will more than return owners initial investments.

Flying Knee

5 Years Old Bay Gelding

We are excited to announce the recent acquisition of rising galloper Flying Knee.

A lightly raced five-year-old, Flying Knee has only had seven starts and has already amassed over $60,000 in prize money.

On January 4^th this year he recorded an impressive victory at Yarra Valley winning by 3 lengths to back up two previous 2^nd placed results at his first two starts. The second of which was a strong showing in the Rosebud Country Club Plate at Mornington following a long spell where he ran the quickest last 200m of the race. Flying Knee also delivered strong performances at two of his next three starts flashing home for 2^nd at Pakenham on the 15^th February before running the last 200m at 11.88 seconds once again at Pakenham on the 7^th of March where he finished 3^rd.

A speed machine, he is operating at a 100% win or place performance at 1000 metres.

From a pedigree perspective, Flying Knee is just as impressive as he has been on the track. Out of the star stallion Rubick who produced sprinting sensation and Everest winner Yes, Yes, Yes. His dam, I’m a Flying Star was a dual city winner and is a ½ sister to Not a Single Doubt. A $120,000 yearling purchase at the 2021 Inglis Premier Yearling Sales, Flying Knee’s dam I’m a Flying Star has had yearlings sell for up to $240,000 highlighting the quality of the family.

Club Sport Syndications are delighted to have joined Reece Goodwin in this purchase. A young trainer who is continuing to impress, Flying Knee is in fantastic hands as he strives to continue rising the grades.

Flying Knee will arrive with Reece towards the end of April where he will have a few weeks to freshen up before heading back in to embark on his preparation.
